Flying into Pincha Mayurasana

In this workshop – as in all of mine – we follow the principle:
“Posture begins in the brain.”
Do you know that feeling of being upside down and suddenly sensing you’re about to fall?
Fear arises, and the mind screams:
“Nooo, I can’t do this – I’m falling!”
or
“Whaaat?! My feet are off the ground – where even am I?”
We lose our orientation and tumble out of the pose, often uncontrolled and confused.
Worst-case scenario? Pain or injury.
Most common outcome? Frustration – in many shapes and forms.
This workshop is about bringing your body and mind together – fully present in the moment – so that you can build trust in yourself and your movement.
You’ll be guided into, or deeper into, the experience of
Pincha Mayurasana – the Forearm Stand – with a clear understanding of
how your brain processes information from the environment, and how your body can respond with strength, control, and grace.
Whether you’re completely new to this pose or already have an established practice, I promise you’ll walk away with exciting, mind-opening tools that will change how you approach movement.
